Hot Stone Massage
Hot stone massage is a type of massage therapy that involves the use of smooth, heated stones. The massage therapist places the hot stones on specific points on your body, and may also hold the stones while giving the massage. The localized heat and weight of the stones warms and relaxes muscles, allowing the massage therapist to apply deeper pressure to those areas without causing discomfort.
Myofascial Release is an alternative medicine therapy that treats skeletal muscle immobility and pain by relaxing contracted muscles, improving blood and lymphatic circulation, and stimulating the stretch reflex in muscles.
Cupping is a form of Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization (IASTM). Silicone cups help create a vacuum that pulls soft tissue away from underlying structures, helping release myofascial restrictions and increasing local circulation to support tissue health. Temporary painless marks resembling bruises will sometimes appear after cupping therapy. These are due to the unlocking of stagnant blood/fluid and typically disappear within a week post-treatment.
